ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE PROVOST

Saturday, Feb. 8th Cancelations:

NO 10:00am Mass
NO Confessions 12-1pm NOR 3-4pm

Dear Friends,

I hope you are well. I write to deliver some sad news and to inform you of how it will affect the Oratory’s Saturday schedule. Br. Matthew’s father, Randal “Randy” Grzybowski, passed away on Friday, January 31st. The family is sad, of course, but they were able to gather during Randy’s final days, to say goodbye to him and to console one another with expressions of love, gratitude, and faith.

Randy’s funeral Mass will be celebrated in Cleveland, OH on Saturday, February 8th. Details are provided in the obituary to which I have provided a link below.

So that all Oratorians can be in Cleveland on Saturday, we are canceling the 10:00am Saturday morning Mass and the two Saturday Confession times, 12-1pm and 3-4pm. The 4:00pm Mass will be celebrated as usual thanks to Fr. Brendan Dawson of St. Jude Parish who has agreed to fill in for us.

In lieu of these cancelations, here are some alternative Mass and confession times for this Saturday at local churches for your convenience:

Saturday Daily Mass Times:

8:15am – St. Paul Cathedral

12:05pm – St. Paul Cathedral

Saturday Confession Times:

12:00pm-1:00pm – Sacred Heart Church (part of St. Jude Parish)

12:45pm-1:15pm – St. Paul Cathedral

We apologize for the inconvenience, and we are tremendously grateful to Fr. Brendan helping us maintain our Sunday Mass schedule. On behalf of the Grzybowski family I ask you to remember Randy and his loved ones in your prayers.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord

And let perpetual light shine upon him.

May the soul of Randy

and all the faithful departed rest in peace.

Yours Truly in Christ,

Fr. Michael Darcy, C.O.
